The Daffodil Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing higher educational opportunities.  The Foundation is primarily responsible for awarding scholarships to the 22 young women representing the Daffodil Festival's Royal Court for the 2010 Festival season.  The Daffodil Foundation Board of Directors wishes to thank all contributors for their generous donations.

Scholarships to be provided during the 2010 Festival season

The Daffodil Scholarship Foundation awarded its first scholarship in 1976 to Queen Renee Hopp in the amount of $700.00.  Thanks to the donations and support of our community the Daffodil Scholarship Foundation is pleased to award $57,500.00 to the 2010 Royal Court. These Scholarships will be presented at the March 17th, 2010 Daffodil Scholarship Luncheon.

  • The Puyallup Fair Foundation Scholarship - $7,500 
     
  • The Bill Merrill Memorial Scholarship - $5,000
     
  • The Sandy Hust Scholarship in memory of all Queen Mothers - $4,000
     
  • The Dave McCallum Memorial Scholarship - $3,000
     
  • The Lady Dena McCallum memorial Scholarship - $2,500
     
  • The Daffodil Memorial Scholarship - $2,500 (in honor or Garvie Fink, Jack Richardson and Lee Merrill)
     
  • The Michael McGuire Memorial Scholarship - $2,500
     
  • The Lady Kathy Kelley memorial Scholarship - $2,500
     
  • The Daffodil Princess Scholarships - $2,000 (Awarded to each of the remaining Princesses)

Opportunities to fund our educational programs are available through donations to the Daffodil Foundation. You can choose to create a scholarship fund in someone's honor, or, donate to the established scholarship fund. Donations are tax deductible.
