Get yourself and the family in shape for the YMCA /Y Run for Kids

 

Join the YMCA on Saturday, April 12th, 2008 as they team up with more than 1,700 YMCAs across the country to celebrate YMCA Healthy Kids Day with their 22nd Annual Y Run for Kids and Healthy Kids Day Carnival. Each YMCA of Tacoma-Pierce County branch will be holding activities throughout the week for kids and their families focusing on improving health in spirit, mind and body. Our Healthy Kids Week will culminate on Saturday, April 12th with our 22nd Annual Y Run for Kids, Healthy Kids Day Carnival, Summer Programs and Day Camp sign up, and the Tacoma Daffodil Parade. There will be activities for everyone. Don't miss this incredible family fun event!

Schedule of Events

7:00am – 8:00am – Day of race registration
8:00am – Kids Race
8:30am – 5K Race
9:00am to 1:30pm Healthy Kids Day Carnival begins
9:30am – Awards
10:15am – 75th Annual Daffodil Parade begins
