Celebrating the Festival
365
Days a Year!

Welcome
to the 79th Annual Daffodil Festival, the theme that I have
chosen is “Don’t Stop Believing”. I had the privilege of serving this
organization as President in 2005 and the theme that year was “Dreams
Come Alive in 2005” while I still have Dreams, I have found that you
need to Believe in those dreams and in yourself to make them come true.
The
Daffodil Festival Grand Floral Parade will be held on April 14, 2012. I
invite you to attend the many events that lead up to our fantastic
parade, held in four cities all in one day. Please join us as we
continue this local community tradition.
The
Daffodil Festival travels to over 20 Community Festivals, throughout the
Pacific Northwest and Canada, as ambassadors of Pierce County and its
Communities, participating in events much like our own Festival.
I would
like to leave you this piece of advice…Don’t Stop Believing…whether
it is in the Easter Bunny, Santa Clause, the Tooth Fairy, or most of all
yourselves, you can accomplish so much if you just believe.

| The Daffodil Festival, a 501(c)(3) Organization, will celebrate its 79th year during the 2012 festival season and takes pride in
calling the great State of Washington, specifically Pierce County, its home. The
Festival is an annual event that culminates in April with a Grand Floral Street Parade,
which travels through the cities of Tacoma, Puyallup, Sumner
and Orting, all in one day.
The theme for the 2012 parade is "Don't Stop Believing". The highlights of the year include activities for the
whole family. The Festival's activities showcase the importance of youth
and provide positive venues for their talents. The Daffodilians hope you
and your family will enjoy and participate in the many
family oriented events and that it
will prove to be a memorable time. Adding many more wonderful memories to your
Daffodil Festival experiences. |
