Over 50 exhibitors aged 14 and under gathered at the Pierce County Fairgrounds to make up 140 entries at the annual Most Magnificent Mutt Show.

Each exhibitor received a participation ribbon and certificate along with a goodie bag with dog treats and a leash sponsored by the Pierce County Fair Association and Pierce County Parks & Recreation.

Class winners received a canvas tote bag filled with pet care items sponsored by Bayer, manufacturers of Advantage©.  Class winners were determined by a judging panel consisting of members of the 2006 Daffodil Royal Court.

The Most Magnificent Mutt received a Trophy sponsored by the Daffodil Association and a 35# bag of food sponsored by Hill’s Pet Nutrition.  The judging Panel consisted of the entire Royal Court who had to come to a consensus to crown this year’s winner.  The Most Magnificent Mutt along with the 17 class winners will have a place of honor at the 2006 Junior Daffodil Parade to be held April 8th in Tacoma.
