Daffodil Festival
|
Beginning in 2005 the Daffodil Festival implemented a new program called “Educator of the Year.” Each of the 2008 Festival's 23 Princesses selected an educator from their school, that they believe has supported, influenced and played a major role during their high school career. Each of the educators selected will be recognized at the Daffodil Festival Princess Promenade, The Queen's Coronation and the Grand Floral Street Parade.
Hopefully, this will be a rewarding experience for our Princesses and the Educators and one they will never forget. The Festival plans to make this an on-going recognition for Educators in the years to come.
The Festival would also like to thank Jaguar of Tacoma at Fife; Lexus of Tacoma at Fife and Sylvan Learning Center for their generous contribution to make this special program a reality.
