- The Daffodil Parade is the longest
traveling parade in the United States at 26.2 miles.
- Next to Mount Rainier, the Daffodil
Float has the most exposure in Pierce County.
- The Grand Floral Daffodil Parade is the
only event in Pierce County being televised annually.
- The Royalty receives a total of
$33,000.00 in scholarships from the Daffodil Foundation each year.
- The Daffodil Festival is the only
Northwest Festival that keeps all 23 of the candidates on the Royal
Court, provides wardrobes and scholarships for each of them and includes
them all in public appearances and speaking engagements.
