This website, just like other websites that form the worldwide web is a work in progress. We admit to so much.
When you navigate through this website, you would see that a lot of it is simply just a collection of pictures. There are some text elements, but by and large, it’s generally graphical in nature. This is not an accident. This is by design because pictures, after all, speak a thousand words.
Still, given the graphical orientation of this website, there is just simply too much content and, as you can well imagine, given the tremendously large database of content we have, there might be many things that fall between the cracks. Our website is not alone in this.
Now, keep in mind that this is not because we’re negligent. This is not because we’re sloppy. It’s because we just have so much content to work with. While we do use the very powerful WordPress content management platform to ensure that the right piece of content goes to the right place and is displayed at the right time to the right people, nothing is bulletproof. You should know that already because nothing in life is perfect.
Accordingly, we need your help. If you click through certain links and, for whatever reason you end up with a blank page or, worse yet, you end up at the wrong page, do speak up and let us know. There is an email form that you can fill out.
Cross conference together
Once we get these materials, we kind of cross reference them together and then end up compiling them. And once we determine which ones are the priority, we get to the root of the matter.
Please understand that we may not be able to resolve the problem that you have spotted immediately. However, rest assured that we will eventually get to it. We work on a purely first in, first out basis, but we also sort in terms of priority. As you can well imagine, we only have so many resources to work with, that’s why we train or dedicate those resources based on the severity of the problem and how common the problem is.
We also need your help in terms of loading content on this website. If you have taken any personal pictures of your travels through the greater Pacific Northwest area and it ended up with the annual daffodil festival, do let us know if we can share some of your photos.
We pride ourselves in being an online depository of all the photographic memories and commemorations of people from all over the United States as they enjoy everything that the greater Tacoma, Washington area has to offer. Accordingly, we have several forms on this website that you can simply upload your photos to, add some captions, and you are good to go.
By uploading your materials here, you are giving us full permanent rights to share with you the license to your work. In other words, you still own your photographs, but you’re just giving us a perpetual license to show the photos until and unless you want to take them off from the internet. In that case, just send us a request and we will take care of your situation promptly.
Finally, if you have any kind of resources regarding the daffodil festival, do let us know. Please share if you have heard of any new restaurants or any new shops or any kind of service related to the daffodil festival.
Also, if you know of any local organizations or businesses that have opened up or are otherwise doing business in the greater Seattle-Tacoma area, we probably would want to know because they form part of the local culture and the local color and culinary offerings.
Whatever the case may be, if you are in doubt, please do not leave it out and just fill out the form and let us sort the issue for you because we’d rather have more materials rather than less.
